This was my first graduation photoshoot, and it went super well! Lyzette loved her album of photos and we did 2 locations overall. First, we decided to use a more urban location for her photos, she wanted to do photos with and without a mask as well as photos with and without her graduation cap. She wasn't able to have a graduation ceremony for her last year of college, which made her pretty upset about the whole ordeal with everything going on involving COVID-19. This photoshoot made her feel better and I tried my best to make it the best shoot possible for her so she could at least be in the moment and celebrate her graduation with a nice album of photos in her graduation cap. She wasn't even able to get a gown in time for the photoshoot either, so we made do with what we had.
I was so elated to be able to provide Lyzette with a graduation shoot despite everything that was going on with her graduation. The second location was in the mountains, a one hour drive from the urban location we were at for the beginning of the shoot. We partially hiked up a trail just to get some good shots ontop of one of the mountains there. Although it wasn't the best weather, the photos turned out perfect. We made it back down just in time before the rain started and that was that!
